Recent changes to the Clinical Social Work and Clinical Practice Act allows students who are currently enrolled in their last semester (quarter) of a master’s level social work program to no longer need pre-approval from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) to sit for the ASWB Masters exam (for LSW). The Clinical Practice with Older Adults Program

Taught by an interdisciplinary faculty with expertise in the field of aging, the Clinical Practice with Older Adults program is designed for professionals with at least two years of post-master’s experience who want to enhance their understanding of contemporary theory, research, and practice with older adults and their families. 

The program begins March 6, 2020 and concludes May 15, 2020. Ten weekly sessions take place on Friday mornings, 9:00am - Noon*, at The University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration. A continental breakfast is provided prior to each class.   
*Please Note: There will be no class on Friday April 10; Class on Friday, April 24 will take place from 2:00-5:00pm
