Information Sessions

The University of Chicago has been closely monitoring the evolving situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19), and we are following guidance from public health officials related to social distancing and public events.

Out of respect for the safety and well-being of our entire UChicago community, we have decided to cancel in-person meetings and Information Sessions. If you are interested in making an appointment to speak to someone in the Admissions office either by phone or video conferencing, please contact the Admissions Office.

Our Information Sessions, which are typically held on Saturday mornings, focus primarily on our AM program in Social Work, Social Policy, and Social Administration. For information about the Social Sector Leadership and Nonprofit Management AM program or for the PhD program, please contact SSA at admissions@ssa.uchicago.edu.

During the Info Session, you will learn more about SSA and our programs including curriculum, field work requirements, and programs of study. We will also walk you through the application process and discuss financial aid and scholarship offerings.
