CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE
Thank you for your interest in hosting an event at SSA. In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, the University of Chicago released new guidance on campus health and safety precautions. Per the University's guidance, we are suspending all University-sponsored events and gatherings effective immediately. We are following the University's recommendations regarding when events will resume at SSA. Updates will be posted on this page as more information becomes available.
SSA classrooms, conference rooms, and large meeting spaces are provided primarily for the support of the educational functions of SSA and the activities necessary for the support of these functions. SSA staff, faculty, and current students are eligible to make a room request, provided the meeting or event has received approval from a senior member of their department and funding has been allocated to cover all event-related expenses. SSA classroom and meeting space is not available for rent to private parties or organizations not affiliated with SSA.
