On Thursday May 23rd, SSA hosted a book launch event celebrating SSA’s leadership and distinct imprint on Shaping a Science in Social Work: Professional Knowledge and Identity and explored the challenges, tensions, and opportunities for social work science and knowledge in our profession into the future. This event included a panel moderated by Dean Deborah Gorman-Smith, the Emily Klein Gidwitz Professor.
