Campus visits are a great opportunity to see what it’s like to be a student at SSA and to ask questions of students and faculty. Come experience how SSA prepares students to become leaders in the field of social work, and meet a community of people dedicated to working toward a more just and humane society through research, teaching, and service to the community.

When you come to SSA for a campus visit, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Tour the building
  • Interact with SSA students
  • Sit in on a class
  • Meet with an admissions representative

Prospective master's students are encouraged to visit on Mondays and Wednesdays during the school year in order to take advantage of the opportunity to sit in on a class with a first-year student. Other days can be scheduled on request.

Prospective doctoral students can visit the weekly doctoral seminar and meet with the Director of the Doctoral Program and the Director of Admissions by contacting the Office of Admissions.

"SSA is so special because it gives you access to much more than a classroom. You can become part of groundbreaking research, participate in important advocacy work in communities organizing for social justice, or collaborate with students across campus on interdisciplinary projects."
